HTML email (plussizesstyle.blogspot.com)I have been a fan of Lulu Guinness' line of handbags forever. Her whimsical bags and signature designs of polka dots, bows, lip purses, and bright colors speaks to my style aesthetic.
But this week, I stepped behind the camera and captured my daughter's style featuring her LULU bag.
Moto Jacket/TJ Maxx (old) | Lace Dress/ H&M | LULU Handbag/ JCPenneys | Peep Toe Booties/ Target
I was super excited when Lulu teamed up with JCPenney in 2013 and launched anexclusive line for the retailer, making her bags more affordable for the average consumer.
When I saw this simple yet modern LULU bag in JCPenney, I knew my daughter would absolutely adore it and I was right! Although her Mom's style is a bit more street and eclectic, she is everything girlie. She loves lace, pearls, neutrals, classic pieces, and describes her style as classic chic with a bit of edge. Lulu is known for mixing vintage with modern and this bag is a combination of both. The cross body strap gives the bag a modern look, yet remove the straps and it becomes a structure retro satchel. My daughter loves the versatility of the bag, the neutral tone (of course), the size is perfection for a cross body, yet looks great as a satchel, is well made for the price point, and can be styled with jeans or in her case, a lace dress. Her bag is currently sold out, but you can view more of the LULU for JCPenney collection here or the designer's original line, here.
I may be a little biased, but doesn't she look adorable?
Until next time, Stay Fab! Delilah & Alia
