Happy Monday all!
When I was chosen as one of the winners of Redbook Magazine’s Real Women Style Awards they asked me for names of plus size designers they could use for the shoot. The first designer that came to mind was Jibri. As you know I am a huge fan of the brand and their on trend, fashionable clothing. So when arrived at my fitting in NYC I was extremely pleased to see their clothing on the racks. I’m not a huge fan of gray but the instant I saw the print on this skirt, I was sold. Plus it fit like a glove hugging my curves. I chose this skirt for the shoot because I wanted Redbook readers to see that plus size women can be just as sophisticated and stylish as other women . I also wanted them to see a confident curvy woman woman to contradict the continuous negative stereotypes that plague our society. I hoped by being in Redbook I could show that style has NO age or size!
Have a wonderful day!
